LUFKIN, TX | 2021 Chevrolet TahoeJune 8, 2026Dropped the vehicle off Thursday evening to fix a recall and was told the vehicle was going to be ready / seen the following day, which would be Friday. When dropping the vehicle off, the wait was over 30 minutes. I received no communication from the person handling my service, and had to call several times (most times he was not available to talk or I was told he was not there) on the status of my vehicle. When I finally got in contact with him it was Tuesday and I was told I could come pick the vehicle up between 5-5:30. When I went to get my vehicle, the person handling my service was already gone, leaving someone else to take care of me getting my vehicle back. After receiving my vehicle Tuesday evening, I had to rush to return to JM before closing because the lights on my vehicle would not go off. The technician could not be reached, the person handling my service could not be reach. The guy who returned my car to me was very nice and did his best to handle my concerns. Overall, I just felt like it was a rush job and poor communication. I was told other services were recommended on my vehicle, and I am unsure if I will get those recommendations done at JM. While I understand that dealerships get behind schedule, it would have been nice to have an update on what was going on.Response from JM Chevrolet
